This is the final level in our combo classes. Students are required to take their ballet class, and are given the option to add tap, jazz, and lyrical.

Students in this 30 minute class practice lyrical technique. At this level students have mastered basic ballet and jazz steps and are put them together to practice lyrical. Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz technique that focuses on artistry, emotion, and storytelling.

*Age/Experience: Students in this class are 15-18 years old. Dancers must turn 15 before Sept 1, and will likely spend 3 or 4 years at this level! We suggest dancers have at least three years of experience before joining this level. Dancers who are brand new to dance may start with private lessons to catch up on the basics.

*Dress code: Fitted dancewear is required for this class which can include leotards, tights, dance shorts and fitted two piece dancewear. Undergarments should not be worn under dancewear. Hair must be pulled up in a ponytail, braid or bun. 

*Shoes: Lyrical "half-sole" shoes are required for this class. Shoes should be purchased at Bobby’s Dancewear. Please select an option that fits the shape of your foot and matches as closely as possible to your skin tone.

Adding a class online will reserve a spot in your selected day/time for $15. After you finish the checkout process, you’ll receive a confirmation email followed by your invoice for the season. Unless we receive written notice, your dancer is committed to our full school year session ending with our annual recital mid-May.
