This is the final level in our combo classes! Students are required to take ballet, since it is the foundation for other forms of dance. Tap, Jazz and Lyrical are also offered at this level and are great additions to ballet. These dancers are also eligible for our NEW contemporary class!

Students in this 60 minute class practice advanced ballet technique. At this level students have mastered basic ballet steps and we focus now on perfecting technique, body alignment, turn out, and artistry. The typical ballet class structure is used as our guide for class which is split into four main segments: barre, center, adagio, and allegro.

Students who want to take their ballet training to the next level may be interested in our Pointe program!

The price for the Teen Ballet Class is $480 for the year (or $60 per month for 8 months). This price includes 60 minutes of advanced instruction per week and one recital costume. Additional Teen Level or add-on classes are discounted based on the number of classes taken. Please refer to our tuition page for details.

*Age/Experience: Students in this class are 15-18 years old. Dancers must turn 15 before Sept 1, and will likely spend 3 or 4 years at this level! We suggest dancers have at least three years of experience before joining this level. Dancers who are brand new to dance may start with private lessons to catch up on the basics.

*Dress code: Leotards are required for this ballet class along with a pair of tights, fitted dance shorts, or a ballet skirt. Undergarments should not be worn under dancewear. Hair must be pulled up in a ponytail, braid or bun.

*Shoes: Ballet shoes are required for this class. Shoes should be purchased at Bobby’s Dancewear.

Adding a class online will reserve a spot in your selected day/time for $15. After you finish the checkout process, you’ll receive a confirmation email followed by your invoice for the season. Unless we receive written notice, your dancer is committed to our full school year session ending with our annual recital mid-May.
