Our littlest students get introduced to the world of dance in this fun movement class. Dancers spend 30 minutes per week exploring pre-ballet, creative movement and tumbling with the help of an adult buddy.

Dancers will start to learn pre-ballet basics, gain strength and coordination, and use their bodies to express themselves. We use props and games to keep the class moving at a pace that’s aligned with their current stage of development. This class format also teaches social skills like following directions, taking turns, making friends, and listening to a teacher.

With the comfort of a trusted adult dancing with them, these little dancers will getting comfortable in a dance classroom, and hopefully set the foundation for a lifetime love of dance!

*Age/Experience: Students in this class are 18-36 months old. No experience required. Buddies must be 14+.

*Dress code: Students should be in dancewear for class which can include leotards, ballet skirts, tights, and dance shorts. Hair should be pulled up off of the neck in a ponytail, braid or bun to minimize distractions. Boys should wear athletic shorts/pants and a plain t-shirt without graphics.

*Shoes: Ballet shoes from Bobby's Dancewear will be required for the spring recital (pink for girls and black for boys). Adult Buddies should be in clothes they feel comfortable moving in since they’ll be participating in class!

*5-8 students per class.

Adding a class online will reserve a spot in your selected day/time and cover tuition for the full semester. After you finish the checkout process, you’ll receive a confirmation email as your sign that you’re all set for the session!

Fall Semester CLOSED, 12 weeks: September 11 - December 21. 13 classes, $150. (No class the week of Halloween or Thanksgiving).

Spring Semester NOW OPEN! January - May 2024. Includes 16 weeks of classes AND a recital costume! $225. (Classes run Jan 8 - May 9. No class the weeks of Feb 5 or April 1.)
