Our littlest students get introduced to the world of dance in this fun movement class. Dancers spend 30 minutes per week exploring pre-ballet, creative movement and tumbling. We use props and games to keep the class moving at a pace that’s aligned with their current stage of development. During the spring semester, dancers will practice a routine to perform on stage during our recital in May!
In contrast to our “Me & My Buddy” program, this class is best suited for independent toddlers who are comfortable being in a room without their own adult, and are ready to start taking their very own class!
Dancers will start to learn proper ballet terminology, gain strength and coordination, and use their bodies to express themselves. This class format also teaches social skills like following directions, taking turns, making friends, and listening to a teacher.

This class is $520 (or $65 per month for 8 months). This price includes weekly rehearsals from September-May and one recital costume for their performance in May!
*Age/Experience: Students in this class are are 2 and 3 years old. Students must turn 2 before September 1, 2023 to participate in this class, and most dancers will be 3 when they perform in the spring! No experience required.
*Dress code: Students should be in dancewear for class which can include leotards, ballet skirts, tights, and dance shorts. Hair should be pulled up off of the neck in a ponytail, braid or bun to minimize the distraction. Boys can wear athletic shorts/pants and a t-shirt without graphics.
*Shoes: Students should wear ballet shoes to class (pink for girls, black for boys) and will perform in these for the spring performance. Shoes should be purchased at Bobby’s Dancewear on 132nd and Center to match the class.
*5-8 students per class.
Adding a class online will reserve a spot in your selected day/time for $15. After you finish the checkout process, you’ll receive a confirmation email followed by your invoice for the season. Unless we receive written notice, your dancer is committed to our full school year session ending with our annual recital mid-May.
