Miss Corrie fell in love with dance when she started classes at just 3 years old. While she enjoyed performing, she quickly discovered that her true passion was in the classroom—learning first, and eventually sharing that love of dance with others.

Corrie has been teaching dance classes since she was still in high school, and became the owner of STARS Dance Academy in 2009. She loves helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance, while supporting the incredible teachers who make SDA such a special place.

Her goal is to make SDA a place where students are encouraged to work hard, achieve their goals, and grow in a loving, supportive, and passionate environment. The studio is her favorite place to be, and she hopes it becomes a place where students and teachers alike feel inspired, encouraged, and excited to learn every day.
